Ranu's journey into food photography..

 I'm Ranu, a food photographer at RanuFoodPhotography in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. My growing passion for capturing the beauty in food, ranging from the simple to the indulgent is evident within my portfolio.

I began my photography journey as an event photographer from where I learnt to work in fast paced environments, find emotion in moments and adapt for all scenarios.

 My interest in food photography began with a love for cooking, merging culinary style with fusion, also carrying forward some of my parent's cooking legacy.  The correlation between cooking and photography inspired me to share enthusiasm for visual storytelling about the creations of food both in its natural and constructed states, embodying taste and emotion from ingredients throughout.

Overtime, the shift led me to focus fully on food photography. I am constantly learning, experimenting, styling and photographing to enhance creativity in which I am drawn to the colours, textures and moods that food can evoke.
